A one day event in the South East for delegates who want to break the cycle of problem debt and help individuals manage their money more effectively.

Description:

One day event run by Advice UK. The event is aimed at:

• Local councilors or council officers.
• Individuals representing a lender/creditor organisation operating in Oxfordshire.
• Community-based health professionals.
• Individuals whose work involves meeting people who are struggling with debt.
• Individuals interested in fuel poverty.
• People dealing with housing needs or homelessness.
• People who are helping people on consumer or personal finance issues.
• People who give advice and information to the general public about money or benefits.
• People who help carers or help people meet their personal care needs.

This event will give delegates the opportunity to find out what advice services are on offer across the county, and chances to develop collaborative approaches to the issues involved.
