This free one day event is part of a Department of Health initiative to ensure health services are young people friendly.

Description:

This event is aimed at voluntary and community organisations working with children, young people and health. It gives participants an opportunity to:

• Meet You're Welcome regional leaders.
• Discuss organisations who have participated in the initiative.
• Be guided through the self-assessment material.

The You're Welcome toolkit allows organisations to self-assess how friendly their services are and then rate levels of achievement. The material also has space for recording evidence and an action plan for reviewing, maintaining or improving the level.
