Information event that provides advice and support an applying for government funding. The workshop will provide delegates with insight and information on how to successfully access funding from local and central government.

The topics that will be covered during the workshop are:

• The history of grant making by government departments.
• Choosing the programme that will give delegates the best chance for success.
• Meeting programme criteria by working in partnership.
• Application construction.
• How to structure applications and what content to include.
• How to write a useful and positive covering letter.
• Potential sources of help and support on the internet.
