Grant funding is best viewed as an ongoing cycle – not a single task which you sort out before getting on with the real work of delivering an activity or service. Fundraising activity doesn’t start by finding a grant – there’s a whole stage of preparation required first if you are to be successful in seeking and managing grants. And funding activity doesn’t end when you receive the cheque and put a logo on your website.
Applying for and managing grants can take a lot of time, and making unsuccessful applications wastes precious resources. There are many ways to improve your chances and to make the most from grant funding.
The tool is easy to do - once you have answered 4 questions, your results will be displayed. You will receive a score out of 20 along with some practical advice and suggestions about how you can develop your skills and expertise.
You can save and compare your results – any previous versions that you have saved are listed below.
We recommend reviewing your results every 6 months and will even send you a reminder email (just tick the box when saving your results). There is also the option to share this tool with others. Press the invite users button on your results screen and select from the list available or add additional email addresses.
You can manage all your saved tools in one place – just select the saved info tab towards the top of the screen in your profile. Here you can rename, delete and revisit all your tools.
